Program Of The Month

The Russian squat routine is a simple to follow 6 week proven results program.unnamed

You simply take your 1 Rep Max, punch it in the spreadsheet and it gives you 6 weeks of squat programming to improve your 1 RM 5-15%.

I have used this 6 week program 3 times, and each time I modified it adding in extra training work as needed.

If you are just starting PowerLifting it's a great program. Great for the intermediate PowerLifter and strength athlete.

I didn't write this program, but I have used it and modified it many times for my own training and added in extra lifts and exercises as needed. 

However, the first time you do this program it is pretty much enough on it's own for lower body work.

Rob is a National PowerLifting Champion and ex competitive Body Builder and Martial Arts Black Belt.

Along with helping thousands of people lose fat and transform their lives Rob is a coach to countless athletes in competitive Bikini, Fitness & PowerLifting.

Danielle Rideout, is the co-owner of Heavyweights Training Center (HWTC), Atlantic Canada's Top Fitness Center.

Lifting is my passion and has lead me to compete in powerlifting competitions winning gold at the provincial powerlifting competition in 2013 and silver in 2014.

In the last two years, I have taken this one step further and have competed in both the provincial bikini competition, and in April I completed a weight loss of 40 lbs to step on stage with the UFE. I went on to compete with the UFE again in October. In November, I was selected to be one of Team Magnum’s sponsored athletes.

I love Strength Training and empowering others to lift.
